The Beamsley Project is an independent charity. We provide self-catering holiday accommodation in the Yorkshire Dales for people with disabilities and their care assistants. The accommodation comprises a centre and adjoining cottage, and is easily accessible. We are situated on the A59 Skipton to Harrogate road. Approach from the Skipton direction and we are 1 mile east of the Bolton Abbey roundabout.

We are well located between Skipton and Ilkley and on the edge of the delightful Wharfedale near Bolton Abbey. Visitors enjoy the riverside walks, the walks round Fewston and Swinstey reservoirs and the steam railway between Bolton Abbey and Embsay. In addition the street market, canal walks and castle in Skipton attract some of our visitors. The riverside play area in Ilkley is also popular.

Further a field are the Falconry Centre near Settle, the Horse Centre near Rathmell and the caves at Clapham. All great places for a visit. Visitors have also used the Beamsley centre to visit Blackpool illuminations, Scarborough, York's Viking Centre, Royal Armouries in Leeds, Bradford's Photographic Museum, and Eureka Science Centre in Halifax. The possibilities are endless. Alternatively you can just stay in and relax.
