MP's VISIT

Julian Smith (MP for Skipton & Ripon) visited the Beamsley Project . He toured the building and was very encouraging. He has promised to support us when approaching Trusts and Grant awarding bodies for funds.

ENCOURAGING AWARD.

We have just been given the Duke of York's Community Initiative Award. A big thank you to all those people who supported us and enabled us to gain this important recognition for all the work at Beamsley. The presentation took place in Harrogate and the picture shows the Duke of York presenting the Award to our Chairman, Peter Shields.

The wheelchair lift in the Cottage has just been replaced. Visitors will have the use of a new modern lift. This has been possible because of very generous donations from the Lyndal Tree Foundation and the Albert Hunt Trust. We are very grateful to them for their support.

We are hoping to renovate the Centre shower rooms and bath room in the near future. As we are  a small charity any help that we can get is much appreciated. You can donate by contacting us at the Centre or by Charity Choice web site www.charitychoice.org.uk

Or contact us on 01756 710 255 or email info@beamsleyproject.org.uk

Many thanks for your help.
